WEST CHESTER, Pennsylvania (May 13, 2019) — Gilroy Associates is pleased to announce that retired navy admiral Mark Ferguson has joined the company. Ferguson brings his expertise in leadership, change management, and effective team-building to the advisory firm.

He joins the Gilroy Associates team after a successful naval career, where he rose to the rank of four-star admiral. Highlights include serving as vice chief of naval operations and chief human resources officer, where he led major cross-service initiatives including the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Ferguson has been recognized for introducing innovative personnel policies such as flexible work programs, professional sabbaticals, and professional credentialing for navy work experience. He also brings experience as a board member of a public company and a government research center.

“We are thrilled to bring Mark onto the team,” says Carrie Maslen, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Gilroy Associates, “His unique blend of military, diplomatic and business experience gives him the perspective to tackle client challenges from all angles, and his leadership experience can serve as an example for all of us.”
